ABOUT


Lay’s Vietnam has changed its brand name from Poca to Lay’s which marks a leap of thriving from the local to the global market. As part of the journey to more innovative campaigns, a new position was born as a representative for the creative resource of the brand team.

Lay’s launched its dynamic campaign that year from the message of the product root to new packaging and promotions. Especially in the Summer campaign, they collaborated with the Pepsi brand to co-sponsor Rap Viet - the biggest platform for the rap community in Vietnam at the time.

STORY


In 2021, chị Quế - Brand Manager from Lay’s (Pepsico) team contacted me for a new position in her brand team. This is a specific role to connect the agency and brand team. I have to work closely with Lay’s in-house team to revise and input feedback for important communication work, assist the brand manager in brainstorming sessions with agencies, and give suggestions in terms of creative direction.

The opportunity gave me five months of understanding how-it-look-like from a client perspective and experiencing an intense journey of working with different partners.
